Terms of Service

By using the Warnely mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Warnely aggregates publicly available safety and news data to provide location-based safety alerts. The App monitors public data sources including news agencies, government agencies, and geological/meteorological services to identify safety-relevant incidents.

2. Important Safety Disclaimer

Warnely is not a substitute for official emergency services. The App is an informational tool only. Always follow guidance from local authorities, emergency services, and official government channels. Do not rely solely on Warnely for life-safety decisions. Call your local emergency number (e.g., 911, 112, 999) in an emergency.

Warnely does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of alerts. Alerts are derived from third-party sources and automated classification, which may contain errors or delays.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or services.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Scrape, harvest, or redistribute alert data for commercial purposes without permission.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Warnely offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Warnely Premium"). Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms for in-app purchases.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by Warnely. Alert content is derived from third-party sources and attributed accordingly. You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., zone names).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warnely and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from:

• Missed, delayed, or inaccurate alerts.
• Decisions made based on information provided by the App.
• Service interruptions or data loss.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
